2024 Community Service Awards Banquet

The Fred Douglass Community Development Corporation (FDCDC) is thrilled to invite you to join us for our 2024 Community Service Awards Banquet. This event will recognize volunteers making a difference in the Jacksonville community. 
 
FDCDC is a non-profit organization working closely with the Jacksonville City Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Corporation, and other community leaders on a multi-phase revitalization of its District 1. Phase 1 of this project involves major renovations to Lincoln Park.
 
To assist in the completion of this first stage of the project, the FDCDC is hosting this banquet fundraiser to recognize and celebrate outstanding individuals in our community who have made a difference in the lives of residents. We are requesting your help to raise $70,000 to assist in the completion of Phase 1 of the project. The mission of FDCDC is to advance the social and economic well-being of low- and moderate-income individuals and families in and around Jacksonville. FDCDC strives to achieve our mission through comprehensive education and a community development strategy which includes programs and services designed to benefit children, youth, adults, and senior citizens. The renovation of Lincoln Park adheres to our mission and will benefit people of all ages within the City of Jacksonville, especially those in the Lincoln Park community. Once completed, Jacksonville will have a park that is ADA compatible, with a senior fitness area and educational facts, attributes not offered by other local parks.
