Event at The Clothes Closet & More

FEINSTEIN FOUNDATION CHALLENGE
The Clothes Closet has an opportunity to restock our food pantry and purchase items needed for sack lunches on Friday and Saturday, when our HOPE soup kitchen is not open, to the needy in Jacksonville.  This is the second year The Clothes Closet & More has participated in Mr. Allen Feinstein’s challenge to fight hunger in our community.  He has pledged one million dollars from the Feinstein Foundation to divide proportionately among agencies receiving donations through this offer. 
 
We are asking you and/or your organization to help us throughout the year, but especially in March and April, to continue providing Friday and Saturday sack lunches, and to have a small food pantry on weekends when most food banks and churches are unavailable.
 
These donations can include cash, checks, food items, or pledges made between March 1 and April 30, 2014.  Please join us again for the Feinstein Challenge.  Your support will help us continue to fight hunger in our community.
